At a Glance: Summary of Key Points
Before diving into the legal details, here is a quick overview of what you are agreeing to when you use our platform:
- Our Service: ReactionTest provides free online tools and games to measure and improve your visual and auditory reaction times.
- Your Obligations: You agree to use our tests fairly. This means no using bots, automated scripts, or cheats to artificially inflate your scores on our benchmarks.
- Payments: Our core reaction tests are completely free to use. We do not currently charge subscription fees.
- Liability Limitations: We provide our tests "as is." Importantly, our tests are for entertainment and personal self-improvement only—they are not medical or diagnostic tools.

- Termination: You can delete your account at any time. We also reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
- Contact: You can always reach us at contact@reactiontest.app.
1. Welcome & Agreement
Welcome to ReactionTest. We are thrilled to have you here to test your reflexes, track your progress, and improve your cognitive response times.
By accessing our website at https://reactiontest.app or using any of our interactive tests and training games, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service. We have written these terms to be as clear and straightforward as possible because we want you to understand your rights and responsibilities. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
If you have any questions about what you read here, please reach out to us at contact@reactiontest.app.
2. About Our Service
ReactionTest is a digital platform designed to help you measure and improve your response speed, decision-making, attention, accuracy, and consistency.
What We Provide
We offer a suite of interactive visual and auditory tests. You can use these tools to establish your baseline reaction times, compare your results against global benchmarks, and play training games designed to sharpen your skills over time.
Eligibility
To use ReactionTest, you must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your local jurisdiction (such as under the GDPR or US State Privacy Laws). If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission to use our services.
Service Availability
We work hard to keep ReactionTest running smoothly so you can test your skills whenever you want. However, we cannot guarantee that the service will be available 100% of the time. We may occasionally need to take the site offline for maintenance, updates, or to fix unexpected technical issues.
3. Your Account
While you can try some of our tests as a guest, tracking your performance over time requires creating an account.
Registration and Accuracy
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. This helps us ensure that our global benchmarks remain reliable for everyone.
Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Please do not share your login details with anyone else. If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, let us know immediately. We cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized access that results from you failing to protect your password.
Account Termination by You
You have complete control over your account. You can choose to close your account and delete your profile at any time through your account settings.
4. Acceptable Use
We want ReactionTest to be a fun, fair, and safe environment for everyone looking to improve their reaction times. To maintain the integrity of our platform, we have established a few ground rules.
What You Can Do
You are encouraged to take our tests as often as you like, track your personal records, share your legitimate scores with friends, and use our platform to genuinely improve your cognitive and physical response times.
What Is Prohibited
To protect our systems and the accuracy of our global benchmarks, you agree not to:
- Use bots, macros, automated scripts, or any other technical workarounds to artificially inflate your reaction time scores.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt our website or servers.
- Scrape our data, including benchmark statistics or other users' scores, without our explicit written permission.
- Use our platform to distribute malware or malicious code.
Consequences of Violations
If we determine that you have violated these acceptable use rules, we reserve the right to remove your scores from our leaderboards, suspend your access, or permanently terminate your account.
5. Content & Intellectual Property
Clarity around who owns what helps prevent misunderstandings. Here is how we handle intellectual property.
Our Property
ReactionTest owns all rights to the website, the underlying code, the design of the tests, the training games, and all original graphics and text. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use our platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our tests or software.
Your Data
You retain ownership of your personal performance data. By using our service, you grant us a license to process this data to provide you with historical tracking, and to use anonymized, aggregated versions of your scores to calculate global benchmarks and improve our tests.
6. Payments & Billing
We believe in making cognitive and reflex training accessible to everyone.
Currently, ReactionTest provides all of our core online reaction time tests and performance tracking features completely free of charge. You do not need to provide a credit card to use our standard services.
If we ever decide to introduce premium features, advanced analytics, or specialized training modules for a fee in the future, we will provide clear, upfront pricing transparency. We will never charge you without your explicit consent, and any future paid features will be entirely optional.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is critically important to us. Because we serve an international community, we comply with major global privacy frameworks, including the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, and other applicable US State Privacy Laws.
We collect standard operational data and performance metrics to make the service work and to track your progress. We only share data with essential service providers (like our secure hosting partners) who help us run the site. For a complete, detailed explanation of what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your privacy rights, please read our comprehensive Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers & Limitations
We want to be completely honest about what ReactionTest can and cannot do.
Not Medical Advice
ReactionTest is designed strictly for entertainment, personal tracking, and self-improvement. While we measure visual and auditory response speeds and attention, our tests are not medical, diagnostic, or clinical tools. They cannot be used to diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition, cognitive impairment, or vision/hearing issue. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
"As Is" Service
We provide ReactionTest on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not make any warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of our tests.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReactionTest and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by local consumer protection laws.
9. Dispute Resolution
If a problem arises, we want to fix it efficiently and fairly.
Informal Resolution First
If you have an issue with ReactionTest, you agree to contact us first at contact@reactiontest.app. We will do our best to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
Formal Resolution
If we cannot resolve the issue informally, any remaining dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
Class Action Waiver
Where permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
10. Changes & Termination
Businesses evolve, and our terms may need to evolve with us.
Modifying These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our features, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and may notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of ReactionTest after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
Termination Rights
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ReactionTest at any time, without notice, if you violate these terms or if we are legally required to do so.
11. General Legal
These final provisions ensure our agreement is legally sound.
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, ensuring you receive the consumer protections afforded to you by your local laws.
- Severability: If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, that specific section will be removed or edited, but the rest of the terms will remain in full effect.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms of Service, alongside our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ReactionTest regarding your use of the platform.
- Assignment: We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another company in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your account or rights to anyone else.
12. Contact Information
We are always here to help. If you have questions, concerns, or feedback about these terms or our tests, please reach out to us.
- Email: contact@reactiontest.app
- Website: https://reactiontest.app
We aim to respond to all inquiries within 3 to 5 business days.
13. Data Export and Deletion on Termination
We believe your performance data belongs to you. If you choose to terminate your account, or if we must terminate your account for any reason, you will not lose immediate access to your historical reaction time data.
Upon account termination, we provide a 30-day data export window. During this 30-day period, you may request and retrieve a complete copy of your personal performance history and account data in a standard, machine-readable format (such as CSV or JSON).
Once this 30-day export window expires, your personal data will be permanently and securely deleted from our active servers, in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable privacy laws (such as the GDPR and CCPA). Please note that once this permanent deletion occurs, your historical data cannot be recovered.
